Active  Violence  Immediate  Response Training

What is AVIRT?

AVIRT (Active Violence Immediate Response Training) combines active violence response strategies with lifesaving bleeding-control techniques.  Participants gain the knowledge and confidence to:

  • Recognize warning signs and respond quickly to potential threats.

  • React effectively during active violence or active shooter incidents.

  • Provide immediate bleeding control and first-aid care until medical professionals arrive.

  • Build a culture of preparedness in the workplace and community.
