At On Guard Response Training, everything we do comes from one simple belief:

My own journey has always been about service. Over the years, I’ve served in the military, worked as a Bailiff, responded on the frontlines as an EMT, and taught as an instructor. In each of these roles—whether in high-pressure emergencies, busy courtrooms, or the classroom—I’ve seen how preparation makes all the difference.

​

With over 20 years of EMT experience, military service in two countries, foreign war zones  and years of teaching both firearms and first aid, I’ve learned that true training isn’t about memorizing steps—it’s about building confidence. That’s why I started On Guard Response Training: to give people the tools, knowledge, and mindset to stay calm and capable when it matters most.

Today, I’m proud to guide individuals, families, schools, businesses, daycares, and churches toward greater safety and peace of mind. Our training is practical, hands-on, and always focused on real-world situations—so you walk away ready to act, not just ready to pass a test.

Because at the heart of it all, this work is about protecting what matters most: the people around us.

​​As the Owner and Trainings Center Director of On Guard Response Training, my mission is simple: to make safety training accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone.

 

My background as a nurse, EMT, teacher, and volunteer for the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), has given me firsthand experience in how vital preparedness can be—and how the right knowledge truly saves lives.

My Husband and me built this company to bridge the gap between medical expertise and everyday readiness.

 

Whether we’re teaching children the basics of staying safe, training employees in first aid, or preparing communities to respond under pressure, my focus is on creating training that is engaging, relatable, and confidence-building.

​

Leading On Guard Response Training is more than running a business—it’s about equipping families, organizations, and communities with the tools to take safety into their own hands.
